Put the motor in the Laurel today
Since its at standard height i ran into a few problems with not being able to get the motor high enough with my block and tackle
So i had an idea… i let the tyres down and stood on the windscreen while i lowered it in
She worked a treat!!! So now its in and just needs the details finished off

On Monday afternoon Matt from Vegas rang me saying he’d just driven past an r32 on the side of the road for $500…
I said find out more! 10 minutes later we had brought an r32 Skyline for $400!
Only downer is that its a CA18i… but still not complaining for $200 each 
Have since arranged an sr20 and loom for it so will have updates to come!

I’ve always had a HUGE soft spot for old school cars
Whether it be an American or a Japanese car, the old school has always tickled my fancy, and one day when i’m old enough and mature enough i want to build old cars
I have a dream of one day owning a Hakosuka and I would also love a “lead sled” American cruiser
Also one day I would love a shed full of old cars and old crap that I could just get lost in and spend days engulfed in the wonders of it

Its not too bad . Just broken headlights and a dented bonnet, bumper iron and ego

Nathan and I shared the driving at this HD.
He did most of the morning and then we did 50/50 on the afternoon course.
The following pics are from Duncan, who was giving photography a go for the first time. I reckon he did an awesome job!
I’m in the orange overalls with the sunglasses and Nathan’s in the blue overalls. As you can see the damage isnt too bad from when nathan hit the wall
Met a guy at the track who was a real GC. His name is Steve and he has huge potential as a driver
He was keen on some battles so we gave it a go

Depressed is how i feel when i look at my two vehicles sitting in tge driveway…
I spent the weekend making the laurel ghey and getting it ready for a wof.
The van is also painfully high. Not for long though
